기본적인 의미로는 그만해! 라는 의미입니다.

Knock은 똑똑 두둘기다라는 의미인데, 똑똑 두둘기는것을 Off 해라 라는 의미로 계속 무언가를 반복적으로 하는 것을 그만하라는 의미입니다.

 

아이들이 무언가를 자꾸 귀찮게 물어보거나, 시끄러운 소리를 내거나 반복적으로 하는 행동에 대해서

미국에 부모님들이 아이들에게 그만하라고 말할 때 사용하면서 만들어진 언어 표현입니다.
